Korean Skincare Routine feat. THEFACESHOP Yehwadam Pure Brightening

Tuesday, 15 August 2017

Korean women are always known for their beautiful skin, but do you know that they have up to 10 steps when it comes to their skincare routine?

Today, I'm not going to delve into what's the latest trend on kbeauty but rather, going
on how to achieve that highly sought after "chok-chok" (plump and moist) skin.

Pictured above are the latest skincare products from THE FACE SHOP.

In Malaysia, THE FACE SHOP opened its first outlet at Mid Valley Megamall in 2006. This was wayyyyy before the kwave, and this brand is one of the pioneering Korean brands that entered the Malaysian market.

To be honest, I never really paid much attention to Korean brands back then because we Malaysians were more exposed to French/Japanese skincare. We were not so open back then, but with more and more Korean brands landing onto Malaysian soil, I believe we are acknowledging the power of Korean products!

As skincare is something very personal, and it performs differently on each skin - I am very careful and selective of what I put onto my face.

I generally avoid whitening and/or anti-aging products because they tend to break out my skin.
(But to be fair, those whitening products I tried were from the drugstore range, and perhaps were too harsh for my skin).

So when The Face Shop approached me to try out their skincare range which focused on Whitening and Anti-Aging, I was a little skeptical.
And of course, afraid.
Because of the bad experiences (with other whitening/anti-aging skincare) in the past.

But, I begin researching more on the line. It's called . . .

 YEHWADAM Pure Brightening.

Initially, I thought it was pronounced as YEH-WA-DAM.
But, the correct pronunciation is YE-HWA-DAM.

YE (่˜‚): herbs & plants   |   HWA (่Šฑ): flower   |   DAM (่ญš) story

So the whole name itself is based on a STORY of a Traditional Herb Line that contains Korean traditional herbs and flower extracts, inspired by stories of beautiful Korean women and their beauty secrets passed down through the generations.

This skincare is formulated with
‘Chil-baek- seol-yun- dan Complex’ which is a brightening formula consisting of 7
brightening and pristine traditional herbs harvested in Korean soil that are processed using
‘baek-ja’ method where natural ingredients are heated for a long period of time in order to
maximize the efficacy and to eliminate any toxins in the extraction process.

Also this range is infused with --
Niacinamide: Skin brightening
Adenosine: Anti-wrinkle

When I opened the instruction manual, I found something really interesting!
I saw that Yehwadam Pure Brightening range is made in Whoo Labs!
If you don't know, History of WHOO is a Korean luxury skincare line under the LG Group of companies - which The Face Shop is under also!

I have personally been using HYDRATION type of skincare for 2 years now but recently, that my facialist always reminded me to exfoliate my skin because my face seems dull.
I figured, Hydration skincare alone cannot "brighten" my complexion

So I figured that this type of high quality skincare would help brighten the skin, improve dull skin tone, dark spots and pigmentation.

As I read more, it tells me that the product has natural ingredients from plants and it assures me that it is not as "strong" for my face. Toxins are thoroughly eliminated and gentle on skin. Also, apparently this brightening line does not leave dryness on the skin (which most whitening/brightening products are known for).

Sounds good, yes?

So I tried to slowly introduce this range into my daily skincare routine, limiting to two days in a week. (I didn't want to "shock" my already sensitive skin, so I wanted to make this a smooth transition. You know, how you first step into a new environment and everything seems foreign to you? It always help to have a "familiarization" tour to ease in the new change ๐Ÿ˜Œ)

The first week seems good so I proceed to increase the limit to 4 times the following week. By the fourth week, I could use them on the daily, smoothly!

TIP: Always try some product on the hand to see whether there is a reaction before proceeding onto the face.

This is how I use the products in chronological order:

Toner > Serum > Emulsion > Cream

See video below I posted on Instagram few days ago --

So let me introduce these FOUR new products to you!

A soft, fresh brightening and anti-ageing toner that gently brightens the look of uneven and dull skin tone while infusing skin with moisture, leaving skin illuminated, radiant, and glowing.

As you can see from the pics above, its light and fresh texture allows toner to glide and absorb into skin gently and softly. I usually dispense about 4-5 drops for whole face and neck (if you saw the video). I use a cotton pad to dab slowly onto my face instead of pulling and tugging my skin. From what I learnt from a sales assistant, she mentioned that this way doesn't aggravate sensitive skin.
Out of the four products, this has the strongest scent.

Luminous and fresh brightening serum with anti-aging formula brightens dull skintone and reduces the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation while infusing skin with moisture, leaving skin illuminated, radiant, and glowing.

One pump is only enough for the face, thus you will need an additional pump for the neck and decolletage area. If you look closely IRL, there are small tiny pearl particles.

A brightening and anti-aging emulsion infused with intense moisture softly absorbs deep into skin to brighten dull skin tone and to reduce appearance of dark spots, leaving skin illuminated, radiant with a glow.

One pump is enough for both face and neck. You will need to wait this product to dry slightly before layering on the last step - the cream. That way, you do not "overcrowd" or overlayer your skin till the point of suffocation.

A creamy, highly concentrated brightening cream with anti-aging formula instantly boosts skin’s radiance, reduces the appearance of age spots and pigmentation, and smoothes and softens skin.

A rich formula with soft texture, you will only need very small amount of this cream to cover your face, neck and decolletage. I thought what I took was just small enough, turns out it was too much. I usually rub the remaining extra onto my hands and arms because as they say, your hands also reveals your age easier!

My skin is generally easy to maintain because I AM VERY AWARE of what I use for myself.
So if you are curious to know more about Yehwadam Pure Brightening, I suggest you talk to your dermatologist or The Face Shop sales assistants as they will be more knowledgeable when they see your skin condition.

I believe that skincare should be personal and coming from me, someone who has dry sensitive skin,

Because it is gentle enough for my sensitive skin and effective enough to see results.

Here's the price list, inclusive of 6% GST.

REVIEW: L'Oreal Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation

Tuesday, 8 August 2017

Selecting the right foundation can be tricky - sometimes when you found the right one for your skin AND it happens to be from the drugstore (SCORE!!!), it can really be a rewarding experience!

That happened to me when I found the Bourjois Healthy Mix Liquid Foundation. It happens to work for me EVERYTIME! Whenever I apply it onto my face, I get compliments from friends and strangers about my healthy looking skin -- they would ask about which foundation I used. That's when I know I have really hit a HOME RUN!

Since the Healthy Mix Foundation has been through an upgrade recently, I felt that it has not been performing as well as its predecessor. I liked the previous one for its coverage and durability better. With my (slight) disappointment, I have been wandering around to look for similar drugstore foundation that can rival my (once) Holy Grail.

I first noticed the L'Oreal Infallible foundation late 2016 / early 2017 at Guardian and Watsons but I was never really interested in biting the bullet at a whopping RM99 (~USD23) for a drugstore foundation! For a little bit more, I could actually bring home a foundation from Sephora or other high street brands (I enjoy using KVD, Too Faced & Estee Lauder atm). I'm pretty sure many of you would feel the same way too about the hefty price tag.

So recently when Watsons had a sale at 40%, I was ready to take the plunge (I saw online that Hermo is now selling at 50% off). I bought the shade 130 True Beige because that was one of the two shades that the salesperson recommended to me (the other was 220 if not mistaken). I also bought the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation as it has just arrived in Watsons stores in Malaysia.

Packaging wise, it is somewhat similar to the current True Match foundation (in a glass bottle with pump and cover), except that Infallible comes with in a red pump instead of silver. It is hygienic and I appreciate it for proper product dispense. The bottle feels expensive in my hands and I concluded that the price tag is somewhat justified.

So here are my thoughts when using this foundation for the first time: --

As I pumped out onto the back of my hand, the texture feels gel-like, not too watery - which I like. I proceeded to reach for my Real Techniques sponge to apply and blend on my face. Blending out is slightly difficult as the foundation doesn't seem to stay put as it moves around alot. I'm happy that most of my imperfections were covered, only for one pimple scar on my cheek which recently surfaced. Thus I conclude the coverage to be HIGH (yay!) after two layers. If you want a more natural/lighter coverage, you could just apply one layer instead for medium coverage. It takes about a minute to dry and the dry-down is semi-glowy-matte (is there such a term, lol). I proceeded to set it with my Kat Von D translucent setting powder after my whole makeup is done.

I was really happy with the finished look but as you know, the real test of a makeup product is how it fares throughout the day. ๐Ÿ˜

After about 3 hours later, I saw my reflection in the mirror....

I saw that the foundation caked up around the nose and mouth area, also some on my forehead.
It was totally a bad look and my boyfriend, Jack noticed it too.
Such a disaster.

So I quickly went online to search for more reviews on how it fares on other people. What I found out was:
This foundie only works with one layer instead of two, else it cakes up badly.

I am utterly disappointed to learn about that because:
1. I prefer high coverage foundations.
2. I may end up with a mess overtime if I over-apply.

Because of the two reasons, it is enough for me to get turned off with this product.

My Conclusion:
I don't like it.
Personally I feel the Maybelline Fit Me fares better on my skin and I started to get compliments for that from my boyfriend. I think I may have just found my next potential HG foundation ๐Ÿ˜‰
Will be updating this space for a full review soon, maybe.

Who Will Like This Foundation:
If you prefer medium coverage with only one layer of foundation, this is for you! I suggest to wait for sales period (which is pretty frequent nowadays) to get this. There are about 10 shades, so you may be able to get a shade closest to your skin easily.

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation is available at Guardian and Watsons pharmacies across Malaysia and online at Hermo.

The Butterfly Project 4th Birthday Part 2 HUGE BEAUTY BAG UNBOXING!

Thursday, 3 August 2017

Pardon the unusual makeup, it was a party makeup look I created for the event's mini contest of the day!

Hello readers!

Today's post is about sharing my happiness -- I'm gonna unbox my Butterfly Party Bag and introduce every single item I got from the event! It's a pretty HUGE bag so sit back, get your cup of coffee and enjoy the post!

As you can see below, The Butterfly Project is a pretty fun and active blogging community that have been around for FOUR YEARS now! We are a community of beauty bloggers, coming together to unleash our potentials and supporting each other along the way.

Pic taken during The Butterfly Project's 4th Birthday Part 2!
Read about Part 1 here.

Here's an overview of what to expect in the beauty bag --

Sponsors: 13
Full Size Products: 18
Value: RM887.79

Let's get into it, shall we?
o͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡╮(^ เจŠ ^)╭o͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡͡

Sponsor: G&G Studiobooth
Product: Photobox Prints
Value: Priceless

GNG Studiobooth (short for Glitz & Glam) was kind enough to make themselves available on that day to make all of us Butterflies happy! Of course a Millennial Party will never be complete without an instant photobooth. You know how some photo prints are just handed out by itself at some events? Well GNG printouts come together with a proper cardboard photo holder to make your printouts more presentable (like a bookmark)!

Trivia: The butterfly bag you see above is actually funded by The Butterfly Project's Founder herself - Ms Tammy Lim! The newly designed gold butterfly is TBP's latest logo and it's more sophisticated compared to its previous design.

Sponsor: W.Lab
Product: Pocket Shadow Palette Blooming
Value: RM90

W.Lab is a Korean beauty brand hailing from Korea, made available to Malaysians via Althea Korea. Althea is a Korean Beauty e-commerce website which ships directly from Korea to Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia... and more recently, to US and Rest of World!!

This palette costs a ๐Ÿ’ฃ (RM90 is pretty expensive to me for Korean makeup!) but then again when I compare with other Western palettes, it's half of what we usually pay here in Malaysia. I somehow find it surprising that it has THREE MATTE SHADES which could work as transition colours because Korean eyeshadow palettes hardly produce matte textures! If you are observant, you will notice that most Asian-produced eyeshadows contain pearls / shimmer / glitter in all of them. So yes, this is refreshing for me as I need some matte colours to achieve a clean eye look!

Aside for using for the eyes, this palette also recommends users to use it as a shade makeup on the jawline and collarbone, to give it more dimension. Talk about maximizing its usability!

From the website, it states the ingredients as White Flower Complex, which comprises of --
Prunus Serrulata Flower Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Plumeria Rubra Flower Extract, Magnolia Liliflora Flower Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Extract and Lilium Tigrinum Flower Extract. It looks like this palette has been infused with various flower extracts to suit its "Blooming" theme! Plus check out each of the shade's name to see which extract it has been made with!
๐ŸŒธ ๐Ÿต ๐ŸŒน ๐ŸŒป ๐ŸŒท ๐ŸŒผ ๐ŸŒบ

As for repurchasing, maybe not because I always like exploring other palettes all the time. Having this once is good enough for me ๐Ÿ˜

Sponsor: Orkid Cosmetics
Product: Liquid Lipsticks in 4 shades
Value: RM39 each x 4

Without a doubt, when I first opened the package and saw all the shades, my heart leaped out of my body because I saw all NUDE SHADES!!!
☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Since nude shades have been in my radar for awhile now, I cannot be happier to receive these babies! What's more to like is that these are made by our local indie beauty brand, Orkid Cosmetics. The founder Raisa is someone I know personally, so I was stoked to have my hands on these finally. Each liquid lipstick is priced at RM39, really affordable!

When swatched on my arm, Blush and Mars look somewhat similar in nudish pink, but Mars being on the darker side. Turnt is towards a brownish nude while Vibes is peachy nude. Out of all the 4 shades, I like Blush the most! ๐Ÿ˜

When I applied these onto my lips, it is absolutely gorgeous! It is quite lightweight and glides on easily while staying put. Here's how I look wearing Blush --

However towards the end of the day, I felt my lips chapping and flaking slightly. It is a little drying to my lips unfortunately. These babies are nice but I don't think I would repurchase again unless they change the formulation to be more hydrating.

Sponsor: Pax Moly
Product: Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
Value: RM29.90

I love my Aloe Vera gels and when I saw this being 100%, I was excited!
So far I've never came across an Aloe Vera gel pack with 100%, I usually see ones with 92%, 94%, 98% etc, so to me this is really RARE.

That being said, it doesn't feel much different from my regular aloe vera packs. It performs just as well and it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. You could use this as a face moisturizer, hydration mask, sleeping mask, body gel, post sun care treatment for cooling effect or even soothing small burns.

Buying this at less than RM30 is definitely a steal because usually other retail outlets sell these at RM35-40 per pack. So yes, I'd repurchase this! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Product: Unicorn Face Makeup Brush
Value: RM89

Unicorn Brushes are for the ones who believe in magic ✨๐Ÿฆ„✨

My Say:
I tried all of these brushes and I gotta say, they are pleasantly soft! I feel the face brushes are good but the ones for eyes, the bristles are a bit too long thus it seems difficult to control.

1. Hold onto the ferrel (metal connector) for more control (packing on colours).
2. Hold the tip of the unicorn horn for less control (blending out colours).

Sponsor: Adidas
Product: Climacool Shower Gel 250ml & Climacool Deodorant 35ml
Value: RM10.90 & RM4.99 respectively

The shower gel comes in the form of clear blue gel with small white capsules that would dissolve once you rub them. It smells somewhat refreshing and has a cooling feeling to it so I'd usually use this after exercising. It keeps me feeling refreshed after a good workout. Sadly since this product is for the mass market, I looked through the ingredients list and saw SLS in it and was quite taken aback. I guess using this shower gel is okay once in awhile but not everyday. I will not repurchase because of its non-earth friendly nature.

As for the deodorant, I can't comment because I'm not a fan of those as my mom sternly warned me against those, in fear of it being a cause to cancer.

Sponsor: Clinelle
Product: UV Defense SPF50 30ml, PureSwiss Hydracalm Sleeping Mask 60ml, Hot Body Shaper Cream
Value: RM48.70, RM75.90, RM89.90 respectively

Clinelle actually gave us more than what was listed in the goodie bag brief - they included additional deep cleansing water in travel size for us too, how thoughtful!

Here's my quick thoughts about the products --

Hot Body Shaper Cream: This orange packaging tube is really eye catching! It comes with 5 roller balls on the bottom so I thought it would be good for massaging in the product. But nope, the balls are not as useful because it doesn't really move smoothly together with the cream so massaging the cream with my palms onto my body is so much faster. The lotion doesn't heat up until about few minutes after application and gosh, the burning sensation can feel overwhelming at times! ๐Ÿ˜‚
I don't see much improvement on my body just yet (have not been using regularly too) but as I know, this will definitely hasten your body goals. Slapping this on without working out is just a waste of cream! Repurchase? Yes, maybe.

PureSWISS HydraCalm Sleeping Mask: Many fellow bloggers who got this claim that this product is the best product out of all the goodies from the beauty bag! As for me, I find the fragrance a little strong for my liking but the scent of it is really refreshing! It reminds me of a luxury beauty facial place with all those expensive lotions lingering everywhere! Personally I enjoy using this product but I don't think I would repurchase because of the strong fragrance (I have sensitive skin). Also this product has a pH level of 5.5 - slightly acidic, so do take note!

UV Defense SPF 50 PA+++ Sunscreen: This is one very tacky lotion! However, it absorbs very quickly into the skin, which is great because usually sticky textures takes time to blend in. Also, I like that it doesn't leave a white cast on my face, which some sun protection does. Using this alone is great but under makeup, not so much if it doesn't dry down well. Since it takes awhile to dry, I usually use this for my body. Repurchase highly unlikely.

Deep Cleansing Water: When I saw that this water has 5-in-1 benefits, I was kinda skeptical and a little scared too because I have sensitive skin. The water claims to be a makeup remover, exfoliator, purifier, brightener and moisturizer -- ALL IN ONE product. It also states that removes waterproof makeup, oil-free, non-greasy, effective and gentle. Also it is suitable for all skin types and is dermatologically tested and paraben free. OK, that's a lot TBH. So does it do everything? Yes for everything except it is NOT gentle. It stings a little when I was trying to remove my waterproof mascara (it does remove it completely YAY!) so you have to be careful when using around the eyes area. For me to repurchase it, highly unlikely because my skin does feel a bit tight post-makeup removal.

Sponsor: Mamonde
Product: Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner 4ml & Floral Hydro Mist 120ml
Value: RM39 & RM49 respectively

Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner: The brush tip is attached to the cover so you have to control the brush there. Unfortunately the brush is quite long and flexible, which means it can get quite messy if you're a beginner. For me, I do not enjoy using this type of eyeliner to wing my eyes because it's very difficult to control the brush if its not from a pen. I would use this eyeliner to fill in the space of my winged liner (after using another eyeliner with a pen tip). It is quite dark but the downside of this eyeliner is that it can be rubbed away easily with just water. So because of this reason I will not repurchase this because it's not up to my expectations.

Floral Hydro Mist: Like any other facial mist, it comes in a spray can with a nozzle for fuss-free dispensary. This mist is in a 120ml spritz bottle (which unfortunately isn't travel friendly as travel allowance is 100ml per bottle for cabin luggage). Upon spraying the mist, it leaves a very refreshing and pleasant, soft floral scent. Indeed Mamonde is a brand inspired by flowers, thus if you are a huge flora fan, this one is for you!

Sponsor: Dolly Wink
Product: Liqiud Eyeliner WP Super Black
Value: RM69.90

This is a beautiful eyeliner with very fine soft tip. It allows you to draw your eyeliner with precision and glides easily onto your skin, even with eyeshadow on top. The colour is intense black, so it's great if you're going for a dramatic look!

Sponsor: 1028
Product: Big Eyes Magnifier Mascara 8ml
Value: RM59.90

A mascara that has a lengthening wand, it does as it claims. It is infused with Vitamin B5 as well as some lash fiber (but I don't see as much as I would like to) to bring out the best of your lashes. It does fall short of my expectation, seeing that this is on the slightly higher price point for drugstore mascara (average drugstore mascara price in Malaysia is about RM20-40 in 2017). Not repurchasing this because it doesn't wow me.

Sponsor: Neesya
Product: Cleansing Set
Value: RM39

This face cleanser and scrub is made to brighten and revive dull skin... best part is, it's certified HALAL! This brand is from Malaysia and get be found in our local drugstores such as Watsons and online at

Sponsor: Hadabisei
Product: Moisturizing Face Mask Extra Rick 5pcs
Value: RM48.70

My friend Arisa, who is a Japan enthusiast, loves this mask! This box contains 5 sheet masks, and it claims to boost skin instantly with extra rich serum infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Royal Jelly.
I myself have yet to try this, but it looks like a great sheet mask for dry skin peeps!

Product: 50 x 4R prints & The Simple Book 6x6 Hardcover 20pgs
Value: RM25 & RM79 respectively

A voucher with 2 codes for us to redeem 50 pieces of 4R size prints worth RM25 AND a Simple Book 6x6 Hardcover with 20 pages, how thoughtful!
Photobook Malaysia is a one-stop printing place to make sure your precious memories are being eternalized! With the advance of technology, printing is now made super easy!

That summarizes the whole bag! Just wanna give a warm heartfelt thanks to ALL THE GENEROUS SPONSORS to make this party so exciting one by allowing us bloggers to have a taste of your wonderful products! Malaysia is indeed a bursting place of never-ending offerings of beauty products!

Butterfly Soirรฉe @ Posh Nail Spa TTDI

Tuesday, 4 July 2017

I was one of the privileged Butterflies to have been invited to the prestigious, annual Butterfly Project Soirรฉe (spa party) back in May. Seeing that I was one of the community's "warga emas" (or you can say, longest serving batch of bloggers), I was fortunate to be included in this campaign as they were treating us ladies to a day of nail spa pampering and delicious wine with accompanying desserts!

The venue was hosted at Posh! Nail Spa, one of the most successful nail parlors in KL/PJ area. If I'm not mistaken, Posh turns 5 this year and it's hard to believe that they've been only been around this long! The name may sound familiar because Posh have sponsored various print magazines and local events through the years (they recently groomed the nails of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant aka MACIP 2017 ladies too!).

The above illustration is the actual interior of their newly refurbished TTDI outlet.
It is luxe, plush and spells everything

Upon entering the door, you'll be greeted with this scenery --

The interior of the nail parlor is decorated in white and gold, to reflect its luxurious, POSH theme.
The first thing that caught my attention was the BIG PLUSH CHAIRS.
Did you noticed that there were placed far apart from each other?
I find it very special because most nail parlors would cramp chairs nearby to maximise on its real estate.
Not here.
Here at Posh, you get lots of space.
And more space means privacy.
Privacy is expensive.

Can you imagine being placed next to a stranger really close for few hours straight?
It definitely would be very UNCOMFORTABLE because you can hear their every little conversation with the nail artist.
(A lot of ladies love gossiping with their favourite nail artist / hair stylist / salon lady. No?)

Plus, what better way to increase your privacy other than THICK POSH CURTAINS?
Bet most of you haven't seen a nail salon in Malaysia adorned with individual curtains to separate each customer! We usually only get this at facial centres where we need to lie down but now we could also have it when doing our nails (even when lying down isn't necessary).
I'm definitely impressed!

Also, Posh takes accompanying friends, boyfriends, husbands and children into consideration by placing a ultra plush sofa in middle of the salon for those long waiting hours!

On the left we have Emcee of the Day, Sydney Lim with Posh!'s founder (left), Sereen Eng.

The attendees came dressed accordingly to the party's theme! So pretty (●♡∀♡●)

Of course, the perfect pampering session couldn't be complete with some French Patisserie and fine wine! We had the good people of La Rose Noire Malaysia to indulge us with their sweet pastries in creatively decorated food tray presentation! We had a few choices of Chous Chous, Petit Fours Tartlets, Moscato and of course, Macarons! Our wine was a bottle of Ca Bianca Moscato d’Asti from Wine Talk Malaysia. How generous!

After having the perfect set of manicured nails, Posh understands the demands of today's busy women by adding a makeup space for that perfect all-in-one-stop package. The beauty of this makeup space is you could actually get your nails, makeup and hair, waxing, eyelash extensions done all in ONE PLACE before heading to your event! You can actually utilize the space and services offered to get ready right before heading to your event!

Also, the space is also part of another offering of Posh - you could host private parties (like this Butterfly Soirรฉe!) or workshops, inline with your theme! Everything can be arranged and discussed beforehand and Posh is really flexible like that.

There are some corners of the salon where nail art compilation are displayed to showcase Posh artists' talents. Some of these nails have been featured in print magazines and even on the runway during the first ever nail fashion show organized by Posh!

I find this wall quite interesting as it has actual nail polish bottles and makeup tools attached as part of the display.

The Wall of Fame.
I saw online that Posh! Nail Spa has been the choice of MACIP girls for 4 years in a row now (they have been sponsoring the girls since 2013!). That's something to be real proud of as MACIP is a very prestigious chinese pageant in Malaysia.

These Soi candles were there to set the mood and were given as part of a thank you gift for the soirรฉe.

I did not have the chance to have my nails donned by Posh during the event as my nails were fully manicured during that time but I heard from the other attendees that they loved their express manicures done there. I have some vouchers (yet to be utilized) and I plan to go there very soon as my nails are in need of some TLC right now.

Before I end this blogpost, I would like to thank The Butterfly Project again for being my Fairy-Godmother and sending me to such a beautiful soirรฉe.
This is definitely one of the best pampering sessions I've had in awhile!
It really can transform you into the queen that you are meant to be.
